My name is Rain—well, my English name. My Dutch name is Reinout. I’m a photographer based in Almere, Netherlands, and photography is one of my greatest passions, something I love to share with others. At 20 years old, I am entirely self-taught, constantly learning through experimentation and pushing my boundaries. As a perfectionist, I strive to deliver my very best with each image. My main interests lie in fashion and street photography, as they reveal stories that often go unnoticed. I often style my photos in warm tones, creating a cozy, inviting atmosphere.
My journey
I began my journey in photography in mid-2018 with a simple, low-quality phone camera, where composition quickly became essential. Craving more, I upgraded to a phone with a better camera, hoping to capture sharper, more striking images. With every shot, my love for photography grew. After countless photos, I had the chance to purchase my first DSLR from a neighbor, marking a new chapter. From that moment on, my camera accompanied me everywhere, as I experimented with different techniques and styles. Three years later, I decided to upgrade to a newer model—the same one I use today. Photography has become not just a passion but a continuous journey of learning, now defined by my own signature style.
